So, it’s official. I just got an e-mail from camp manager at the Oregon Zoo, and she asked me if I would like to work as a conservation educator this summer.
Full time. Not just part time. Full time. As a counselor.
Do you know what this means?
It means I get to see the bats hangin’ out and cuddlin’ and stuff.
I get to talk to kids about how rad zebra stripes are!
I get to explain the difference between monkeys and apes!
The highlight will definitely be seeing my best friend at the zoo…

CRICKET THE CARACAL!
I can’t really explain how happy I am at this moment in time. It looks like we’re both going to have wonderful summers across the country.
Talk to you soon, kid.
With love,
Julia
What a great first day in NYC!
Everyone in my department is wicked nice and oh so fashionable. Probably my favorite part about the company is the shear number of well dressed individuals. Thinking i’m going to bust out the spats tomorrow…. on second thought, i think I’ll save them for a special occasion.
Judging by the popularity seen in times square alone, I think it is safe to say that the popular color combos of the Summer are Sea Foam greens (One of my favorites) and Salmon (one of my least favorite colors), and mustardy yellows and white.

Tomorrow I get to venture into the studios for a shoot, really excited for that.
I’ll keep you posted on how it goes. Unfortunately I can’t share photos from work, but I’ll tell you as much as I can.
Love,
LWHH
Dear Lyle,
Do you remember when we played Scrabble at the Bohemian Coffee House? I challenge you to a rematch. I would totally own you.

We asked Jack, our in-house men’s stylist and go-to answer guy, to weigh in on the pocket square.
Dear Lyle,
You should model for J.Crew so you can show the world how to fold pocket squares.

Dear Lyle,
Here’s my first video post to the blog. I hope to see your reply soon.
